Jason A. Santamaria

Jason Santamaria is an independent business consultant. 

Jason has worked as an associate in Morgan Stanley’s investment banking division in New York and as a business analyst with McKinsey & Company.  Jason served as an artillery officer in the United States Marine Corps, and conducted research in international economics in Venezuela as a J. William Fulbright Scholar.

His education includes a BA in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa, and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.  Jason currently resides in Connecticut and his hobbies include backpacking, windsurfing, and classic cars.

In addition to co-authoring The Marine Corps Way, Jason has co-authored several highly regarded business articles (See publications).

Vincent Martino

Vincent Martino is currently Chief Operating Officer of Balihoo, Inc. (http://www.balihoo.com), a company that makes a vertical search engine for media buying and planning.  His previous experience includes general management roles with Capital One Financial and Dynamicsoft, a startup technology company acquired by Cisco.

Vincent served as a communications officer in the United States Marine Corps, where he held the positions of platoon commander, operations officer, company commander, and while deployed to Kuwait during contingency operations, detachment commander.

His education includes a BS with merit in Ocean Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA in Operations and Information Systems Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.  Vincent currently resides near Boise, ID.  He is an avid fly-fisher.

While at Wharton, Martino, together with Jason Santamaria, conceived and instituted an ongoing program with the Marine Corps in Quantico, Virginia, which introduced MBA students to an innovative, outside-the-classroom, leadership experience.  The program has been featured in prominent business media, including Lou Dobbs Tonight, The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, and The Financial Times.

Eric K. Clemons

Dr. Eric K. Clemons is Professor of Operations and Information Management at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  

His research and teaching interests include strategic uses of information systems such as eCommerce, the changes that information technology enables in the competitive balance between new entrants and established industry participants, transformation of distribution channels, and the impact of information technology on the risks and benefits of outsourcing and strategic alliances.

His education includes an S.B. in Physics from MIT and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Operations Research from Cornell University.  Dr. Clemons has twenty-seven years experience on the faculties of Wharton, Cornell, and Harvard, and consulting experience in the private and public sectors both domestically and abroad.  He has published extensively, both in academic journals and in business publications such as the Financial Times (See publications).
