Below is a sampling of feedback submitted via our website:

"I am the Chief of Police of [a small town in] Idaho . . . This book is really an asset. . . I hope that everyone who has a copy is utilizing the principles of your book as much as I am trying to do. I am still trying to master the concept of maneuver warfare as it pertains to police work. . . . Effective leadership is so critical! As you may have read or heard on the news, we had two tactical team officers shot during the service of a drug search warrant recently. Both are back on duty thanks to their tactical vests. I always complained about the $1,200.00 price tag on those but now think they were a real bargain. As I looked through Chapter 13 and the Summary chapter it reminded me of how critical quality leadership is. . . . I may read [the book] once a year now just to ensure that I'm doing all that I should be to "take care of my [officers]" and educate the command staff on those principles."

I read plenty of "strategy books" and military-to-business books but none are as good as yours. A long student of Sun-Tzu and other tacticians I can safely say that no other book takes the theoretical and matches it with the real-world. Good job! Semper Fidelis!"

"Extremely valuable resource for aspiring entrepreneurs, and a timely validation of how I should conduct myself in both business and life. I have struggled recently over whether the standards I try live by in both my career and personally were worth the effort since so many others seem satisfied with much less than their best. Your book has given me the courage to embrace the high standards I strive to achieve and has inspired me to exceed those standards. Thank you for a wonderful read and a manual for life both in and out of the office."

"I am currently pursuing my doctorate degree in education and have become very interested in leadership qualities. Your book epitomizes the spirit of leadership. I have begun to incorporate many elements into my daily work activities as an NCO in the NJ State Police."

"As the CEO of a small business, I am looking forward to enlisting the success of the Corps to enhance our business strategy."

"I am a former enlisted Marine, finishing my MBA at Kellogg. I've always thought that the leadership skills the Marine Corps taught me were invaluable and more applicable in business than I or anyone would have believed. Your book confirms it!" I couldn't put the book down and am recommending it to everyone I meet. Thanks for what you've done. Semper Fi.

"I am a former Marine and have been in the business world since 1971. I enjoy reading about military history, leadership and business. I have just started your book and so far think that it is great. The thing that has always amazed me is how many companies that I have worked for, just don't get it when it comes to these principles."

"By the time I finished the book, I was firmly convinced that these are a lot of the same principles of warfare we have used in the Naval Submarine force since its inception, we just haven't done quite as well as well as the Marines at codifying and institutionalizing them."

"Outstanding job gentlemen! As a former enlisted NCO and having served in Vietnam I found you book to be of great value in helping me understand why I do the things I do in business. Although being Old Corps I found the tactics and principles to be very sound and applicable to business today. As friends of mine on the homebuilding business in Phoenix, Arizona have it on their "T" shirts - "We didn't come to play, we came to win." I've always used tempo, not knowing it of course, but now do I not only understand it better, you've taught me a few new tricks when deploying strategic initiatives."
